Points System
Qualifying rewards the pole position winner with one point and sets the grid for race one. The top eight
finishers score points (10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) The grid for race two is determined by the finishing order of the
first race, with the top eight positions reversed (as in GP2) The top six finishers score points (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)
and an extra point in each race is rewarded for fastest lap.
Auto GP will boast a Lola B05/52 chassis, powered by a 3.4 litre V8 engine with 550 bhp of maximum power.
Impressive figures which, based on performance, launch this new series right on the tail of GP2 and ahead of anything
else racing in Europe. With just 18 seats available, competition is going to be fierce...
