Silverstone is a tricky circuit on which to gain an optimised set-up as the low downforce needed for the opening section of the circuit is totally at odds with the final twisting stadium section.
If the set-up is not at its optimum there is very little a driver can do to compensate at Silverstone.
It remains a huge challenge and a driver’s favourite.
