THE DRIVERS
2007 World Series Champion, Alvaro Parente from Portugal signed up at
the beginning of the season, bringing on board the massive sponsor
Soccerade, adding some green to the famously blue and yellow Super Nova
no.8 car!
Christian Bakkerud, from Denmark continued his association with the team having successfully completed the inaugural GP2 Asia Series with Super Nova earlier this year. Yet a reoccurring back injury sealed his fate after just racing two events, forcing him to step out of the cock pick and rest up for the reminder of the season.
Andy Soucek keenly signed up as the Danish drivers’ replacement having already driven for the team in Istanbul. From Magny Cours the Austro/German driver will be in the no.7 car for the balance of the 2008 GP2 Main Series.
